Things to know about Alfred
Alfred S. Regnery has served on the ISI board since 2002. He is the former publisher of the American Spectator, a monthly journal of politics and culture. Previously he was the president and publisher of Regnery Publishing, Inc., the firm founded in 1947 by his father, Henry Regnery, who was formerly Chairman of the ISI Board. Mr. Regnery served in the Department of Justice during the Reagan administration and as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, and he has practiced law in Washington and in the Midwest. A graduate of Beloit College and the University of Wisconsin Law School, he serves as chairman of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.
