It may sound like a simple question. But few can agree on what religious freedom is, what it permits, or whether it is a good thing.Â

Crockett, a tutor at St. John’s College of Annapolis, holds a law degree from Yale and a graduate degree in humanities from the University of Chicago. He previously served as an attorney for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Â
